I took these portraits this weekend of Chelsea’s newborn. He was 1 month and was awake for the 1st half of his session looking around and squiggling. He is super strong and could hold himself up. I was amazed at how strong he was. I had my kids to tummy time early just like this little guy. I was glad they did because it helped make them strong.
1.At the moment I am booked solid and have no openings left. I am booked all the way till the end August 11th is my next available spot.
2. I added Bill Me Later to my site to make it easier for my clients to pay all at once. I hope this helps. I don’t get any fees for it so if you want to pay that instead of check or cash for your session I am just as happy to except the entire session fee on that.
3. You can make payments to me from Bill Me Later if that is easier for you as well as long as the entire session is paid for before your session.
4. I have raised my prices for many reasons mostly because I am so busy that I can only do 2 newborn sessions a weekend. Since I have been in business for 5 years now I am normally booked out from 3-6 months. I do usually have 1-2 openings a month for last minute sessions if you are asking for a few weeks in advance.
5. I do have waiting lists you can be on.
I want to thank my clients from the bottom of my heart for keeping me in business all these years. Keeping me so busy I am booked solid every single weekend for years now. I love that my clients are very happy with all my work that they keep coming back with their 2nd child or 1 year cake smash portraits. Thank you for appreciating all the hard work I put into my photography business. I do work 6 days a week for years now devoted to getting pictures out in 2 weeks, ordering prints, returning questions in emails, creating contracts, editing till late hours into the night. My business means the world to me. I care deeply that my clients not only are happy with their newborn photos but are in LOVE with them. I want to give you what I would want. That is quality work. I only shoot 2 sessions a week for many reasons the biggest is I can’t edit more than that at the moment. I am planning on shooting more once my 3 year daughter goes to school in 2 years. At the moment this is all I can handle being a work at home Mom.

When to book your newborn session…
The best time to photograph a newborn baby is when they are under two weeks of age, they are still nice and sleepy and curly at this age. You can contact me at any time during your pregnancy to give me an estimated due date, I will then make a tentative booking and when you arrive home from hospital with your brand new baby you can contact me to arrange a suitable time and day for your session. I am normally booked 3-6 months out depending on the time of year. Please call ahead to ensure you get your spot.
When to book your maternity session…
32-36 weeks is the best time to photograph your maternity photos. You can do them in the privacy of Leslie’s studio or she can meet you at a park or a fun location you choose. Your also welcome to do 30 minutes in the studio and 30 minutes outside near a beautiful place by my studio.
Where your session is held…
Your newborn session will be in my studio in Gilbert, Arizona on Saturdays and Sundays.
How long will your session take…
I don’t like to rush so your newborn session can take any where from 2-4 hours, allowing enough time for feeding and comforting.
Props….
I have a entire closest of baskets full of props, backgrounds and a shelf + full of props such as bowls, baskets, etc. After I receive your deposit I will send you a gallery to see the things I do have to help your session go faster.
Proofs…
About 3-4 weeks after your session, I will email you with a password for your private online proofing gallery. The online gallery will remain active for 14 days. Once full payment is received your prints will be ordered; they can take 2-3 weeks for delivery and longer for canvas, books or albums. All images will be stored and archived after 60 days. Once the gallery has been closed there will be a $25 fee to upload your gallery for an additional 7 days.
Ordering…
You can order your prints by sending me an email with your selections. A contract will then be sent back with payment details. Payment can be made by PayPal, credit card of course I prefer check or cash.

If you wanting to do maternity photos and a newborn session you will get a great deal. The best time frame is between 32 weeks -36 weeks pregnant. If your thinking about doing them book these early. I am normally booked 3-6 months out. Depending on the time of year.
You can do outdoor and studio maternity photos, I offer both whichever you would like. Since Summer is coming it’s nice to have the studio to do maternity sessions inside where it’s cooler.
Every time I go on Pinterest I LOVE seeing these photos being repinned! This makes me super happy to see my work being pinned over and over. If your doing a maternity session and want them in the studio you can have them in privacy and I will not post anything you don’t want.

Are you looking for a really cute gift idea for Grandma for Mother’s Day?
I have been wanting to do this idea I had since my kids were smaller. I finally took the time to do it and now I am super happy I did. I took a silloutte of each of my kids. Here is the settings I used on my camera if you would like to do it as well. I used shutterfly.com because they had the template I wanted and I didn’t have time to create a collage myself or I would have.
I shot this against a sheer curtain but I fixed it in Photoshop. You can do the same thing with a iphone or point and shoot camera.
ISO 125, 1/160, f/2.8
How I did it in Photoshop. I copied the background for another layer. Pushed the white on the levels all the way over, then put a mask over the the white and painted it back in.
